Meaning of marriage is what matters

M y family and I traveled to Melbourne, Fla., this weekend was for my cousin's wedding and the celebration, unlike many I have visited.

It 'been kept outside in a public park on site, for a warm sunny day in Florida development. The couple exchange vows under a gazebo, while their parents and close relatives and friends have circled. Chairs were not formally required. Guests sit on park benches on each side of the pavilion to watch the ceremony.

Two small trees with pink ribbons at the entrance of the pavilion have been cut only the decorations for the ceremony. The wonderful thing about outdoor weddings is that God has created most of the wedding decoration is available.

The men of the wedding party was wearing bright green jackets and the women wore pink dresses at the knee. I would not put the colors together thought, but he had a call in the light spring.

The music was also unusual. The bride did not want the typical wedding song. Instead, they walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of the chain of Iris by Goo Goo Dolls.

After a blessing and a reminder of the father of the bride and the groom's father, the preacher gave a long speech and openly the true meaning of marriage and the original plan of God for them. With love and joy in their eyes, the young couple promised to love and protect one another for the rest of their lives.

The reception was not typical, but I thought it was beautiful. Instead of cutting a large wedding cake and all the participants, a much smaller pie sit at a corner table in the bride and groom are shared. Guests enjoyed cake with raspberry cream cheese each center.

Tables with glassware, tea cups filled with beads, sequins and small bags with pink flowers adorned it feels more like a garden tea party.

The ceremony and reception were very personal, of course, show the personality of the young couple. It was not a cookie-cutter wedding, and for me are the best types.
