Gwen Stefany Wedding Pictures in Pink Wedding Dress

Gwen Stefany Wedding Pictures in Pink Wedding Dress

As we know that Gavin Rossdale married Gwen Stefani on September 14, 2002 at St. Paul’s Church in London. I want to post about the wedding dress that used by Gwen, the pink wedding dress wore John Galliano for Dior gown from the London ceremony, this time paired with a Georgian pendant of pink tourmaline, peridot and diamonds by Neil Lane.

The couple exchanged traditional Anglican vows in front of 150 family and friends.Stefani was chauffeured to the church in a blue 1970s Rolls-Royce, making a dramatic entrance to the ceremony approximately one hour late.

She wore a custom-made pink and white silk faille wedding dress by John Galliano for Dior, with an antique lace veil also designed by John Galliano. Her eight bridesmaids wore bias-cut silk dresses by Dior. The bride walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, Dennis, carrying a bouquet of phalaenopsis orchids, rosary beads and her grandmother’s Catholic prayer book. The groom wore a traditional British morning suit and was escorted by his Hungarian sheepdog, Winston, who donned a garland of red flowers. A posh, polished version of every little girl’s childhood wedding fantasy—that’s what we set out to achieve with Meredith Waga-Perez, floral and event designer and owner of NYC’s Belle Fleur. A Manhattan loft with floor-to-ceiling windows, aptly named The Glasshouses, provided the perfect canvas for our concept: playing the reflective qualities of different transparent surfaces—crystal, rhinestones, even ice—against one another for a glittering gala. The entry table displays three very cool (literally!) vases, hand-carved by Okamoto Studio Ice Sculpture, holding harmony calla lilies, Phalaenopsis orchids, peonies and garden roses.

Best Real-Weddings of 2009 part.1

Thousands of real-wedding photos have crossed our desks in the past year. These are our favorites.

Best Real-Weddings of 2009 part.1
Jacqueline and Lachlan in Atlanta, GA
This couple took their wedding décor to new levels of innovation with a “chandelier” of yellow tulips and glass votives that hung above a family-style reception table, escort cards attached to ribbons and suspended from an iron gazebo set amid a “garden” of yellow parasols, and three red velvet wedding cakes, two of which were displayed on tall wooden stands, and a third placed on a platform suspended from the ceiling.

Chandra and Matthew in Branford, CT
A sweet, laid-back garden wedding held on the groom's family's property was all about family and fun—not grandstanding. The couple used as many local vendors as possible, which included handing out bottles of Foxon Park Soda, a local favorite. The groom's mother made cupcakes for the dessert spread, which also included cookies baked by the groom's aunt and the best man's girlfriend. An old-fashioned photo booth kept guests entertained throughout the afternoon cocktail reception.

Mara and Max in Manhattan, NY
A hip downtown hotel provided a casual yet glamorous atmosphere for this wedding, which featured lush florals and pops of bright pink. The bride wore a white sequined Diane von Furstenburg dress, postcards featuring images of paintings and film posters from MoMA were used as escort cards (a nod to the couple's love of art and film), and the mini dessert buffet included homemade marshmallows, lemon tarts, and chocolate chip cookies.

Best Real-Weddings of 2009 part.1
Rhiannon and Ryan in Waltham, MA
A bold color scheme of black and yellow contrasted against the backdrop of a lush, bucolic estate at this creative wedding. A modern-looking seating chart created by the couple, both graphic designers, directed guests to their seats; tables were named after the couple's favorite authors. Black metal birdcages filled with flowers served as centerpieces at the reception, and as a funny dinnertime surprise, the couple silkscreened mustaches onto yellow napkins.

Best Real-Weddings of 2009 part.1
Sarah and Joey in Ann Arbor, MI
This charming wedding, held at a working farm, was filled with handmade details and genius ideas. (Our favorite: swatches of various fabrics were stitched to the escort cards, while each pattern corresponded to a matching table runner.) During the cocktail hour, guests sipped white sangria and played a variety of lawn games, including bocce ball and croquet. Afterward, they sat down to a meal of tapas-size portions of the couple's favorite foods, including pulled pork sandwiches, fish tacos, and macaroni and cheese.

The crystal-and-pearl-embellished silk organza gown (center) Sánchez wore for the ceremony had only one glitch. The actress slipped into the flirty silk-satin chiffon dress with feathers (right) for her first dance, and wore the silk-and-organza gown (left) later in the night.

Unique 5 Hot Wedding Trends

Landscape Centerpiece
Landscape Centerpieces
First it was monochromatic, then it was multiples. Try simple potted herbs, like Jeri Ryan did for her Parisian nuptials, or for more drama, a spectacular creation involving moss, tree bark and mushroom like this one designed by celebrity planner Michelle Rago.

Veils
Veils
Celebrity brides are going retro by wearing veils for their ceremonies. Veils had fallen out favor for the two dress trend, but are back in a big way.

Groom's Cakes

This Southern tradition is a way to incorporate the groom into the wedding. Foodie Tyler Florence kicked off the trend with his Steel Magnolias-themed groom’s cake and jewelry designer Erica Courtney's son, Josh Cappo recently had a red velvet armadillo-shaped cake at his Beverly Hills wedding.
