Last night I went with several of the other PA's in my office to the British Library to view their conference/event's facilities. After living in London for 6 years this was my first visit...and I will definitely be going back. The conference facilities are now run by Peyton Events (part of Peyton and Byrne), they are as you would expect very high quality, large conference/meeting rooms...

But the British Library and the events space available within it are fabulous... they have a seating area based around the King's Library with 65,000 book - King . The British Library has the largest collection of books at 14 million books, increasing by 8,000 a day - 40% held in Yorkshire and 60% in London!
They also have a massive stamp collect, sound library and other materials plus special displays - such as Sir John Ritblat Gallery: Treasures of the British Library, which includes the Magna Carta (I got to see the Magna Carta)!!
