Wedding Singer - Marika Rauscher

Having live music during your ceremony, brings added value in setting the scene and personalising the occasion. Whether you are looking for something old (traditional), something new (contemporary), something borrowed (covers) or something blue (up to you!) – Marika’s vocals can span any style for your special day! Marika will work with you to ensure that you are happy with the songs and format of music for your event. Her wide repertoire of traditional / operatic and non-religious songs will cater your Religious or Civil Ceremony. If requested Marika can also provide suggestions based on your format, or perform your requests!

Marika is happy to perform with and provide musicians of choice (organists, string quartets, pianist, harp etc), or offers high quality backing tracks with her own portable PA, suitable for indoor/outdoor or Marquee locations. If you are unsure of what you’d like, Marika is happy to talk you through the options - be it as part of the wedding ceremony or the reception.

Options for musical interludes:                                                                                                                             

• At the start of the wedding to set the scene
• For the arrival of the bride
• In place of a hymn
• During a candle lighting ceremony

• Consultation to discuss your musical tastes and ideas in order to develop a customised music programme
• Purchase of any new sheet music or backing track accompaniment

• Full preparation of all song choices & rehearsals with musicians
• Programme notes for your order of service
• Live music at your wedding ceremony

Ceremony Plus Drinks Reception:

• Singing at the wedding ceremony (as above) plus one hour of music during the drinks reception to entertain your guests. Both music programmes are tailor made to your requirements, tastes and choice of venue.
